Do something spontaneous

I recently returned from an amazing and very energizing 4-day trip to the Netherlands, visiting my sister and her family. I had totally forgotten how much I  E N J O Y making spontaneous trips.

Despite having spent 8 hours in a car and 1 hour on a ferry (one way), we simply loved it. Even our 3 year old son was excited. Ensuring a relaxed and comfortable journey we were well prepared - with toys, books, DVD's, puzzles, drawing blocks, food, water and nice little surprises. Invaluable family time!!!

It is so easy to lose sight of our priorities when our careers demand so much of us. We want to have a fulfilling life, and at the same time also have room for friends, family, travel, exercise, golf, tennis etc. (I could go on and on)...resulting in exhaustion of trying to compete with the clock and our needs  & wants. Without noticing we soon find us taking our family and loved ones for granted. When do we stop and wake up? And when do we realize that we have everything within our reach already?

Time is relative. By setting aside time for ourselves, our children, our spouse and family, we’ll strengthen both our own emotional well-being and our family's beliefs that they are loved, appreciated and cherished.

Today, I'd like to invite YOU to do something special and spontaneous, with as little planning as possible. Whatever it is enjoy and embrace it. And remember to make B A L A N C E  a priority!!!

If necessary - forgive, forget and move forward - it's the key to abundance.

Inspired by you dear sis, I did something both special AND spontaneous today, and it felt great :).
